Let's have a discussion about what games your roommates or family members play?

  1. I don't know why, but the only video game my mom likes is Halo: Combat Evolved, she plays it a lot. My brothers grew up as a game cube family and eventually got the original Xbox, and moved onto the Wii and Xbox 360. We played Halo from the beginning, and we also loved to play Mario Party 5, Super Smash Bros Melee, and Mario Kart Double Dash, I loved the Zelda Series. Luckily I had the collectors edition so I could play Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask, some godly gifts from the glory of the Nintendo 64 for they are!

  2. Brock, it is quite strange that your Mom only likes the original Halo! lol But I think that it is nice to see families play together like yours does!

My family doesn't play much, when I was a kid I played NES a lot with my dad, but we don't do anything like that any more. I do have 2 roommates that enjoy games like myself. We play a lot of Call of Duty, Halo 4, and the occasional Gears of War. Sometimes we like to go old school and play Mario Party 2 (the best one imo), or get some Donkey Kong 64 going!

  3. Sometimes it is nice to go old school, my brother and I go back and play game cube at times, however I suppose that isn't YOUR old school!I played Donkey Kong country on the game boy advance, and while it was difficult it was really fun! Gears of war is a fantastic third person shooter and I always wonder why I don't have those games. However if you're a busy person there is only a few games you can be playing at once and you must chose wisely! I only had Mario Party 5, and never thought about getting an other one so I wouldn't really know which one is best, but they area ll generally a fun multiplayer experience. Super Smash bros. Melee despite being the least good one it was my favorite multiplayer game, I even played Brawl a lot. Which character(s) was your favorite to use? This question is for anyone. My personal favorite was Roy or Ike for their slow yet powerful devastating attacks, which work well when timed right.
